Balloon is the symbol for everyone's each dream.
They dreamed flying themselves while balloons flew up to the sky.

Here, there's old man still has warm heart.
He had dreamed about going to mysterious fall in South America with her wife for their entire life.
(Actually, wife had dreamed this journey, not him. He just wanted to make her dream come true! How romantic!!)
But there was no chance for them to go their while they're working at amusement park.

After his wife's death, he's planning to go their 'dream land'.

Carl(78), he seems to lose any smile, but he has pretty warm heart.


Flying house

He made flying house with helium gas-balloon, which is his experts.
Not one, not two, it's plenty of balloons! to make house fly!

He's heading to 'dream land' but it's not beautiful as he expected.
There's no tree, no grass, only dark rocks.
But it's not important. It's important that he is there.



After arrival, lots of adventures were waiting them.
For protection purpose, I'll skip this part.


This movie tells childish purity when we forget as grow up.
Even 78-aged, main character, Carl, has had a dream for an entire life.
Dreams, Helium-gas balloons, and hero.
They are still alive, and this movie will make you happy and smile for a long time.

A Great movie to watch. [UP]
Don't forget your dream. You can achieve whatever it is.

The Curious case of Benjamin Button

  When this movie was on the screen, it was issue that Brad and Angelina came to Asia together. It was quite good to watch them walking along.
And this movie was nominated to lots of Screen Award. 
So I was waiting a time to watch this movie, 'cuz I missed it on the screen.

 There was a good chance to get DVD Benjamin( :p ), I enjoyed it on the Big TV screen with my wife.

 Movie was started at 8 o'clock, and I didn't know that run time was too long like that.

Movie is story telling format, and Benjamin's daughter get to know her father's story.
Synopsis is pretty interesting that someone was born  as old man and getting younger as he's grown up. 
In some aspect, reversing life seems to be happy, 'cuz people don't have to worry what they worry about now. Getting old, losing their hair, etc. 

But movie tells it does not.
You don't have to worry about your wrinkle, but fundamental problem is not going away, dementia, weaken memory, etc.

Movie makes people think about Life and Death thoroughly.
Overall tone is pretty heavy, and quite, and long run time.

Arom told me that I seemed to have a big war against sleeping.(haha~! watching movie on weekday is not easy!!argh!!!)

But it was good to watch this movie with my wife, 'cuz it was first DVD after marriage.

I'd like to have these our private première on weekday, arom!! : )

Low production cost, high impression.
Story about old singer who was the star.
He became radio DJ after he won the best singer prize about 18 years ago.
Friendship between manager and star.

I recommand this movie for this season.
Smile and Cry.

The other candidate of 2006's the greatest movie by CJ with "Host"
This movie was made by same director who directed "The Big Swindle, 2004(범죄의 재구성)"
He made another exciting movie which you can't stop sweat your hands during running time.
From the novice to the big gambler.
It's like some story about one famouse gambler's growing life.
Total running time is about 150 min. but there is no time to be tired.
Perfect story, perfect sound, perfect relationships between actors, and showing the power of the gamble and the virtual images of the gamble.
After watching, I wanted to learn some tricks which the main charactor Gony(Seung Woo Cho) did in the movie. hehe
Be a number one of any other fields, it's good to be enjoying a life.
Of course there are too many risks! watch out before you are enjoying a gamble!

Rebirth of Family (The Honor of Family 3)

I saw this movie with my family. I think it's been a really long time to watch movie with my family. When we got to the theater, we didn't have any option to choose movie because it's about 8 o'clock. In fact, we tried to watch "the war of flower" but it was all sold out.
My sister, Angela, told us she heard "The Rebirth of Family" is not good from most one who already watched it. "The war of the flower"s next show time was started from 11 PM and it would be finished around 1 AM. Because it was too late to go back home, we chose The "Rebirth of Family"

No expectation, Full satisfaction.
We all didn't expect too much on this movie, and just attached great importance to watch this movie all together because we usually haven't had a common time to watch a movie.

First half of this movie was not fun at all as expected, but last half was so perfect to laugh.
We were getting to intimate this movie's comic style, and laughed loudly in the end.
Few days later, I could see the second one of this movie series, and it was more fun than this third one.

If you are trying to watch this one, never expect something.

The night Banquet(夜宴)

Zhang ZiYi's new movie with Daniel Wu, The Night Banquet!
It's chinese movie as I expected! Large scale, beautiful colors, and so many gala dresses!
But it was so hard to compress whole the story in 2 or 3 hours.
Because running time is too short for exposing the repeatation of betrayal, if you don't have any mind to be generous like the other watchers next to us at the theater, this movie would be expressed in wierd way.( During the whole movie's running time, they sighed over 200 times )

But if you want to enjoy the life of the chinese kingdom, you sholud watch : )

The Unbearable Lightness of Amour

All I remember is only slang in this movie.
And also these slangs weren't just normal one. These made me feel so bad.
I really hate this kinds of movie, of which poster's feeling and movie's feeling are so different.
I usually pick the movie up by poster. I don't want to be interupted by the other media or words on the street. I just want to judge the movie by myself.
I understand what the director shows and transfer his intention to the watchers.
But I can't accept these kinds of expression.

Poor editing, poor synopsis, poor balancing.
If you really want to watch this, just download the pirate version somewhere.

Like a Virgin

Who wants to be a girl, although he is a strong boy?
Story about a boy, who wants to be a girl.

I've never understood why some guys want to change their gender.
After watching this, I still don't understand.
But now I understand about their feeling in the conservative society like Korea.
It's not easy decision and it's not just stuff for fun.
He also knows this is not right decison, but he has to do this.

Proper story line, proper timing editing, proper laugh and proper impression.
Through whole movie, I though one of the starrings looked like comedian in Korea.
But after movie, ryume told me " He IS comedian!" ha
It's amazing to see comedian on the other screen, not on the their TV Show.
(I mean it. He Looks so DIFFERENT!!)

Anyhow, you should watch : )
My favorite charactor is main charac's best friend. He is not on the Poster.
I love his rap : )

Killar( not Killer )

Story about one Killar, not Killer.
Because of some reasons(you can figure out, after watching this movie), he is killar, not Killer.
Korean title is "politeless bastard" I guess this is for the justification of his killing.
But story line was so awful. I felt like back to 20 years ago, and watching korean traditional movie.
Love story, killing, purity, and death.
I don't understand why this kinds of movie can be released to current competitive movie market.
I think this is why Lotte Cinema can't beat the other big 3 distributor.
Please, choose good movie, Lotte!
